britril Qualitative B2B research

Notice

Privacy policy

Effective November 2, 2026. This policy describes how britril handles information on https://britril.cfd/.

Who we are

britril publishes an educational guidebook on qualitative B2B marketing research. The site is operated from the United States. You can reach the operator at [email protected], by phone at +1 (212) 555-0148, or by mail at 450 Lexington Avenue, Suite 1840, New York, NY 10017, United States.

The pages on this site explain interviews, observation, purchase friction, and positioning synthesis. They are reading material. They are not an application that builds a profile of your buying behavior, and they are not a brokerage of research respondents.

Information you give us

If you join the notes list, you submit an email address through the form that posts to signup.php. We use that address to send occasional notes about Claude research methods. We do not ask for a name, a job title, or a company on that form. Please do not include sensitive information in any message you send to [email protected]. If you email or message us on WhatsApp, we receive whatever you choose to write, plus the contact details your email or WhatsApp account already shows.

Providing an email is voluntary. If you do not join the list, you can still read every article on the site.

Information collected automatically

Like most sites, the host that serves britril.cfd may keep standard server logs. Those logs can include your IP address, the date and time of a request, the page requested, a referring URL, and a user-agent string. We use logs to keep the site available, to diagnose faults, and to understand aggregate load. We do not use logs to build an advertising profile, and we do not sell them.

The pages do not run a third-party analytics suite and do not embed advertising pixels. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google to download typefaces. Google receives the technical data that comes with that request, under Google’s own policies. If you block third-party requests, the text still displays in fallback fonts.

Preference stored in the browser

When you choose Accept all or Reject on the notice, the site writes a value in localStorage under the key cookie_notification. That value records only the choice, so the notice can stay closed. It is not sent to britril with every page view. You can remove it by clearing site data for britril.cfd. The separate cookie policy explains this control in more detail.

How we use information

We use an email address to deliver the notes you asked for and to respond if a message cannot be delivered. We use correspondence to answer questions about the guidebook. We use server logs for security and operations. We do not use this information to score you as a sales lead, to append data from brokers, or to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only to service providers who host the site or send mail on our instructions, when the law requires it, or if a transfer of the publishing operation makes a disclosure necessary. Those providers may process data in the United States. WhatsApp, if you choose to contact us there, is operated by Meta and is governed by its own terms once you leave britril.cfd.

Retention

We keep a newsletter address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We keep correspondence for as long as needed to answer the thread and to keep a record of what we promised. Server logs are kept on a short operational cycle, then deleted or aggregated unless we must hold a record for security or legal reasons. Local preference data stays in your browser until you clear it.

California residents

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives you the right to request access, deletion, and correction. You may also ask whether we sell or share personal information. britril does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context advertising. You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Email [email protected] with the subject “California privacy request.” We verify by matching an email we already have, or by a reasonable check if we have no record. An authorized agent may act with signed permission. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing.

Other US state privacy laws

Residents of other states with access, deletion, and correction rights may email [email protected]. Where a statute allows an appeal, reply with the subject “Privacy appeal.” We do not profile people in ways that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Children

The guidebook is written for working professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child submitted an email, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.

Security and changes

We use reasonable measures for a small publishing site. No method of storage is perfectly secure. If this policy changes, the effective date on this page will change with it.
